Crafting is a skill which involves creating items out of materials/resources. The crafting tab is also the place where players can smelt ores into bars. Many tools required to unlock new skills are made from crafting. It's the second skill unlocked after Mining.
Leveling[]
Players don't get crafting XP from crafting items, but have to use the Hammer to convert bars into XP at the cost of Stardust. Upgrading the Hammer with gems reduces the stardust needed when leveling. Players can also obtain crafting XP by crafting robes and armor.
Leveling Crafting is a requirement for Quests and to craft higher level items.
Smelting bars and producing charcoal[]
A Furnace is required to smelt bars, and the Charcoal Foundry is needed to burn logs into charcoal. The foundry can be obtained from the 'Doric's Armour' quest.

Tips[]
- It's advised to prioritize leveling up crafting first in early to mid game, due to many important key items have to be crafted, like oil supply items, boats or the rocket.
- Iron Bars are the ideal material used to level up, mostly because Bronze Bar's smelting time is too short and Gold Bar's is too long.
