This guide's purpose is to point out which potions are better to be brewed XP wise with certain available resources, based on the amount of ingredients and how abundant the ingredients are. Due to the fact that standard players could buy every ingredient at the Market (ignoring the natural scarcity of seeds), this guide primarily is designed to help hardcore players. Standard players can however get a good vision on which potions yield the best XP by using this guide as well.
The method uses Super Compost Potion as the main potion to compare other potions with, which have the same approximate XP. Despite being a high level potion that requires level 65, it uses abundant resources with a fair amount needed. The 5 crystal leaves can be obtained immediately when using 1-2 potions.
The Super Compost Potion uses 5 , 200 , 100 , 50 and gives 9,100 XP.
These potions below are not in the list of comparison, because of the following reasons:
Potions | Reasons |
---|---|
3 Pirate Potions | Can only be brewed once |
Oxygen Potion | Use uncommon resources and are mainly brewed for effect, not for XP |
Critical Strike Potion | Use rare ingredients like Striped Crystal Leaf |
Ingredients comparison[]
The potions that don't share ingredients with the Super Compost Potion will be compared to each other, indicated by same-colour cells.
The rarer and/or the higher the amount of ingredients in the Needed column, the less value the potion has.

Summary[]
According to the tables above, this is a tiered rank of best potions in terms of XP, based on the needed ingredients. The table can be read as, for example, Super Tree Potion: brew it when you have the available gold leaves, if crystal leaves and red mushroom are scarce..
